EQUINOX Spanish School commits itself to give Spanish classes in the programs in any branch of the institution or in other detailed in Explorer and Basic Spanish programs, with a professor who gives classes in the one to one system or in group according to the program that has been negotiated for the student in the moment of inscription.

The Spanish Academy is only obliged to give classes during the negotiated time and the classes paid in advance by the student at the beginning of the course. However, if the student wishes to extend his/her courses, he/she has to communicate his/her decision to the secretary and has to pay for the additional time in advance.

EQUINOX Spanish School commits itself to hand over a certificate of approval by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ecuador, only for those students that contract for a course with a minimum of 100 hours. The Spanish Academy will not give certificates approved by the Ministry of Education to any students that sign up and pay daily or weekly.
However, the Spanish Academia will hand over a private certificate in which it state the number of received hours in Spanish and the reached level.

The timetable of the studies will be an arrangement of the existing shares; however, this could change in mutual agreement, if the conditions for this exist and whenever the normal development of the Spanish school is not prejudiced.

EQUINOX Spanish School will just refund money to the students; if, due to the fault of the institution the student cannot take classes with the signed professor at the set up timetable. If the student is not able to continue the course due to proved illness, we respect the presentation of a medical certificate.

The students who stay with families have to pay the whole amount for the home stay in advance from the first day of home stay until the last one his/her luggage remains at the family. It is only possible to cancel days of absence when they surpass four days, in this case the student has to pack his/ her luggage and is able to charge his/her luggage at the family to host him/her at the return if the room is still available.
Payment Methods: tuition payments, and housing deposits to our can be paid via bank transfer. At the Spanish school, tuition for additional weeks can be paid in cash or traveler’s checks.
Refund Policy: The housing deposit (if applicable) is non-refundable.
No refunds of tuition are given for missed class days due to school holidays or a student missing a class for personal reasons, and no class hours are made up.
If your plans change on or before your first day of class, you will receive a refund of tuition of 50%.

If you attend classes for fewer weeks than you paid for, your tuition for wholly unused weeks will be fully refunded in 50%, if you notify us no later than Friday for classes starting the following Monday. All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the school via e-mail.
