Day 1
Arrival at the lodge in Cotococha at lunchtime. After lunch it's time for a rest after the long journey.

Welcome drinks and Dinner will be served followed by a reunion to plan the next day's activities.

Great breakfast. 4 hours of Spanish lessons (9:00-13:00). Magnificent lunch. Time to relax a little before we go up the river in canoes. After ten minutes ride we arrive at the riverbank, from where we will start a beautiful 1-hour walk through the secondary jungle to our final destination the waterfall "Las Latas". Here we will enjoy the view and have a refreshing shower. Return to the lodge. Dinner.

Very early breakfast. Collection of equipment (rubber boots, raincoats).We'll go down the river " Napo " in canoes to watch the impressing river with the jungle on both sides. When we arrive to the marine of Misahualli we have to go through a checkpoint, so it's important to remember your passport. We will continue our ride down the "Napo" until we get to the Animal Rescue Center "the AmaZoonico. Amazing and bizarre jungle inhabitants can be easily spotted here, such as tapirs, toucans, caimans, snakes, ocelots among others. It is truly a remarkable experience.

Picnic-lunch on the riverbank, with an opportunity to get a swim.

On our way back to the lodge we visit a village of indigenes people. A "Quichua"- family will show us how to search for gold, prepare a local drink and make ceramics in the old traditional way.

After all this we return to the lodge to get a snack and have to hors of Spanish lessons (16:30-18:30). Dinner and reunion.

Breakfast. 8:00-10:00 Spanish lessons. This day we will go down the river to the jungle village "Misiahualli" to visit the Butterfly farm. An interesting explanation with real examples about the life cycle of the different butterflies will be given. We will be amazed admiring all stages of a butterfly's life, from the egg phase until its passing. After this introduction we'll enter the farm where hundreds of butterflies of various species fly around, filling the place with incredible colours.

Return to the lodge. Lunch.

14:30-18.30 Spanish lessons. Dinner

After our breakfast we'll take a walk in the primary jungle to watch a great amount of different species of birds, medicine plants and other wildlife. With some luck we will be able to see monkeys as well. A native guide will follow us to explain what we see and experience. Return for lunch. 14:30-18:30 Spanish lessons. Dinner.

Day 6

Splendid breakfast. 8:00-12:00 Spanish classes. Lunch.

Afterwards we go by car to Tena. From Tena we take the bus back to Quito .
