ONE TO ONE PROGRAM

The One to One program is the most common Spanish program in Ecuador and Latin America. Our Spanish School in Quito originally began specializing in the One to One Program before expanding our program options. Today, the One to One Program is offered by the majority of Spanish schools in Ecuador and Latin America.

This program offers many benefits for students because it provides individualized instruction. This means that students not only benefit from a pace that fits their level of Spanish and their schedule, but also from the fact that the teacher adapts to each student’s needs, strengths, and weaknesses. The One to One program is ideal for professionals who are interested in covering specific themes and learning specific vocabulary, as well as individuals traveling to Ecuador for a short period of time.

The program is divided into three levels: basic, intermediate, and advanced. Each level is designed to last two weeks, or 40 hours (4 hours a day, Monday through Friday). Classes may be scheduled any time from Monday through Friday during the School’s office hours.

Students will be provided with all necessary learning materials, including readings and workbooks. This program does not have fixed starting dates, so students can apply at any time and for any length of time.

For the same price, students can take the course in Ecuador’s capital city of Quito or on the beautiful beaches of the coastal city of Manta.

Since classes are individual, the student can begin the program immediately upon his or her arrival. Before starting the program, students take a placement test in order to place them at the right level. Once a student’s level has been determined, the teacher will work with the student to create a study plan compatible with the student’s level in order to make the student’s learning fast and smooth. The teacher will always be sure to give significant attention to comprehension and communication, without leaving behind grammar and vocabulary.

The School will provide students with all necessary educational materials, including an exercise book, a notebook, and any photocopies needed for lessons.

The One to One Program is extremely intensive and demands great dedication from the student. One to One is more than just attending class; students will need to actively participate and complete the required homework outside of class hours.

At the end of each level, students will take a final test that will determine if they have passed the level.

The price for the program is $250.oo, which must be paid in full before starting classes. This program is non-refundable, which means the student will not receive any money back if he/she decides to stop the program or stops going to class.
