ACADEMIC PROGRAM

Learn Spanish abroad with your university in the best Spanish School of Ecuador: This program is developed directly with international universities, following the methodology, syllabus, and textbooks of each university. At the end of the program; students receive credits that are accredited by their university.
The academic program has two studying modalities, a monthly one and other during four months.
In the monthly program called Meeting of Cultures, students receive an academic course of 40 to 45 hours of Spanish and 20 hours of Workshops that also will form part of the student’s instruction; and the universities consider it as part of the academic load.

During this Academic Program, our Spanish School organizes excursions inside and outside the city for the students to develop a higher knowledge of the country and its culture.

At the end of the Program the students should develop a small thesis linked to any aspect of the culture of Ecuador.

In the four months program, the course is more intense and it is divided in Spanish, History, Literature, Dance and Arts; until the students obtain the number of credits demanded by the University. Students will take regular classes during the semester and will additionally participate in a long trip.
In both programs, students travel with a teacher guide that is the coordinator of Spanish programs and activities between the Equinox Spanish School, the students and their home University.

The students will live with a host family in order to be introduced into the Ecuadorian culture and included as a family member.
